Ahead of March’s Budget, York Outer MP Julian Sturdy met the Chancellor of the Exchequer alongside fellow Yorkshire Members of Parliament.
In the meeting, he stressed the importance of uplifting income tax thresholds so hardworking families keep more of their money as well as targeted support for primary care to resolve difficulties constituents are facing with access to GP and dental care.
It was also a great opportunity for Julian to brief the Chancellor on his Just Dual It A64 campaign that he launched yesterday alongside the Conservative candidate for Mayor of York and North Yorkshire Keane Duncan.
