Funded and organised by the city of York Council in partnership with Job Centre Plus, York’s latest jobs fair will bring together employers, employment support agencies and education and training providers to offer local people job opportunities, information and advice.
It takes place Wednesday, 21 March 2018 from 10am to 2pm at the York Railway Institute (RI), Queen Street, and will potentially include employers such as John Lewis, Aviva and the North Yorkshire Police, together with some 800 visitors.
Cllr. Tony Richardson, Conservative Deputy Group Leader said:
“ The fair is a brilliant chance for people looking for employment or a change of job to get a feel for what’s out there, and as at past council job fairs this one will host a range of quality employers together with support and advice. Do get there if you can.”
